Tred Barta Brings back the "Barta Camp Woodie Offshore Tournament" to South Carolina

Happy New Year! Although we are in the middle of winter, you need to save the date for this year’s exciting Barta Camp Woodie Offshore Tournament with new rules and awards. June is prime fishing in South Carolina for all species, so we have changed the rules to give more emphasis to game fish. See the Awards and Rules sections for further details. This will make an incredible tournament even more exciting, especially for the kids.
This year’s event will again be held at Georgetown Landing Marina, June 11th-14th, with fishing two out of three days, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. This year the tournament is limited to 75 boats; slips are limited and you must be registered to reserve a slip, so sign up early. You do not want to miss this fun filled tournament.
Ask anyone who participated in our 2007 tournament and they will tell you that it was the most fun tournament they have ever attended, and had the best food. The entry fee is still a very low $600.00. This is not a high pressure, expensive tournament. This is the tournament where everyone has fun, and the kids get hooked on fishing for life. The kids really love our beautiful awards.
Tred and Anni Barta are looking forward to coming back to South Carolina and I know the kids are excited to once again hear Tred’s message of family, honesty, integrity and hard work. We will once again have activities for the kids, with a dunking booth, fighting chair tug of war, games, art, and much more. Did I mention the great food and bands playing each night?
